looking back: our honeymoon to st.thomas

September 5, 2012

Last week I found an old camera card and low and behold there were our honeymoon pictures! (I’m a bit embarrassed that I did not download them when we returned- although I did share some iphone pics back here.) Anyways, I thought I’d share them and reminisce for a bit our lovely trip to the island of St. Thomas.

Most people complain that St. Thomas is overdeveloped and that paradise there has been lost, but CH and I would beg to differ.  We had the best time and didn’t have a problem staying away from the developed side of the island. We stayed on a secluded cove of the island at the Ritz Carlton overlooking St. John. I can’t say enough good things about our accommodations, the customer service, and of course the food.

A part from scuba diving, paddle boarding and laying by the pool, we spent one of the days exploring the gorgeous island of St. John. The majority of the island is a national park (had we known, we would have brought hiking shoes. Bad research on my part.). Instead we spent our time by the beach soaking up the sun and swimming in the sea.

Last but most definitely not least, we highly recommend our travel agent and the team at Professional Travel Services. They are the best!!

Yay for pictures and their stories!!! Your mom-in-law IS awesome! And pardon my ignorance, but doesn’t any island in the Caribbean = paradise (overdeveloped or not), or is that just in my book? 😉

    Love ya, friend!
